Release Date: 25/06/2018
Chinese tech giant ZTE had its share of spotlight during the recent Mobile World Congress launching its two of its mobiles ZTE Blade V8 Mini and ZTE Blade V8 Lite. Although the V8 Lite is only confined for a few countries in Europe, the V8 Mini will release in the US and several Asian countries too. The ZTE Blade V8 Mini release date in India is expected to be May 15, 2017. Let’s go into the details about the ZTE Blade V8 Mini...
Fingerprint sensor, dual primary cameras, 3D shooting mode
Non-removable battery, Hybrid SIM slot
The ZTE Blade V8 Mini is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 MSM8940 Octa-core processor paired with 2GB RAM. Also, the Adreno 505 Graphics Processing Unit along with 1.4 GHz frequency and Cortex A53 architecture of V8 Mini allows its users to access apps and games at a decent speed and quality.
The ZTE Blade V8 Mini comes with dual primary cameras of 13MP+2MP and a 5MP front camera with LED flash. Image resolution of the primary camera can go up to 4128x3096 pixels. The dual primary cameras on the rear allow users to take 3D images, which is a cool feature at this price range. Additional features of the camera include Continuous Shooting, HDR mode, Smile detection, auto flash, face detection, and touch to focus.
The ZTE Blade V8 Mini comes with a 2800 mAh Li-on non-removable battery. Although it does not support Quick Charging, the V8 Mini’s battery proved to be pretty decent and long lasting when compared to the other batteries below 3000 mAh.
Design and Display:
The ZTE Blade V8 Mini, as its predecessor V8, comes in four different colors: Dark Grey, Champagne Gold, Silver, and Rose Gold. With its dimensions around 143x70x9mm, the V8 Mini has a 5-inch IPS LCD display with the screen resolution of 720x1280p. The pixel density and screen to body ratio of the capacitive multi-touch screen are 294 ppi and 68.45% respectively.
The ZTE Blade V8 Mini comes with a decent 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory which can be expandable up to 256GB with a MicroSD card. This mobile does not support USB OTG.
Some of the additional features of the V8 Mini are Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope. The ZTE Blade V8 Mini price in India is expected to be around Rs 16000.
This is a good buy for this price range, considering the impressive battery backup and 3D photo feature. But have a look at Oppo F1s before coming to a conclusion.
