The device comes with Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 chipset and the user has an option to choose between Quad-core (2x1.8 GHz Kryo & 2x1.36 GHz Kryo) - Standard edition and Quad-core (2x2.15 GHz Kryo & 2x1.6 GHz Kryo) - Prime & Pro edition processors.
