The Chinese smartphone giant Vivo has launched the world’s first Android phone with an under-screen fingerprint sensor. The firm has collaborated with Synaptics for the release of this handset and utilized the company’s recent fingerprint scanner on the Android smartphone. Simply put, the Vivo X20 Plus UD is an improvised version of the original Vivo X20 Plus, featuring an under-the-display fingerprint sensor technology while other functionalities remain the same.

The Vivo X20 Plus UD sails on the Funtouch Operating system which is based on the latest Android v7.1.1 (Nougat) OS. The handset is powered by two Kryo 260 Quad-core processors clocking speeds of 2.2GHz. The processor’s mated with 4GB of RAM and outputs a powerful functionality while managing heavy multitasking.
