Samsung Galaxy S8 expert review
Samsung Galaxy S8 release date in India: Released
Samsung Galaxy S8 is going to be the next premium phone that is soon to hit the market from Samsung’s inventory. This will be a level above its predecessor the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. That said, rumors are that Samsung Galaxy S8 Edge would be out soon.
6GB RAM, 12MP cam, 5.7-inch Super AMOLED screen, Corning Gorilla Glass 5, 64 & 128GB internal memory, supports expandable memory up to 256GB, fingerprint scanner, quick charge 3.0, stereo speakers, 5 color options to choose from, Dust proof and water resistant.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 specs of the processor are off the charts. The new device will be coming with the Android Nougat operating system along with TouchWiz UI. The phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 chipset and an Exynos 8895 Octa processor. The devices iconic android experience will be boosted by a 6GB RAM unit.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 review of the camera is very similar to its predecessor. It comes with a 12MP primary camera that features Geo-tagging, simultaneous 4K video, and 9MP image recording, touch focus, face/smile detection, Auto HDR, panorama, phase detection autofocus, OIS, and dual-LED (dual tone) flash. The camera records HDR quality dual videos at [email protected], [email protected] resolution.
The selfie shooter optimized to get the widest angles selfies on this is a 5MP unit.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 comes with a 64GB and a 128GB internal storage capacity variants. The 64GB variants come with a dedicated slot for expandable memory while the 128GB has a hybrid slot. Both the variants support the use of expandable memory up to 256GB.
Design and Display:
The Samsung Galaxy S8 edge full specification of the display unit is not out yet. The Samsung Galaxy S8 borrows a large portion of its design from the S7. The phone comes with a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen that produces a display output of 1440 x 2560 pixel resolutions. It features a pixel density of 515 pixels per inch, which is very high when compared to its competitors, the iPhone 7 and Pixel.
The Samsung Galaxy S8’s battery life can not be numbered yet. The phone will be featuring a 3000 mAh battery unit. Details on the standby time and talk time aren’t out. Yet, Samsung could have done a better job by providing a bigger battery.
The Samsung Galaxy S8’s price in India is to be around 54,000 rupees. At this price, it will be taking Google’s Pixel, Pixel Xl and iPhone 7 as competitors. The phone has a perfect amalgam of features, design and hardware, which makes it a phone worth for.
The Galaxy S8 price in India was speculated to be around INR 54,000 before launch and the analysis seemed close enough as it came with a price tag of INR 57,000. The price drop or high hasn’t been flickering and has taken over the premium smartphone space currently with its bezel-less design, Artificial Intelligence (Bixby) and features.
The features the s8 price charges us for seems tallied as this is the first flagship phone that has introduced face scanner, and Iris scanner as security measures apart from the standard fingerprint scanner it comes with. The Samsung S 8 has surely been received positively by the world and that has paved way for the launch of its next variant the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus. The latter comes with a larger screen and extra storage options.
That brings us to the question of what the Samsung Galaxy S8 Edge price in India would be upon launch and what features it would carry, will it a battery larger than 3000 mAh to compensate for S8 or will it have 6 or 8 GB RAM on it to tackle the odds of the OnePlus 3t. Guess, we’ll have to wait to find out.
Samsung has now revealed their plans of coming up with a 6GB variant in the Samsung Galaxy S8. The Galaxy S8 6GB will also be seen coming with a price cut to match the competition. Hasn't Christmas arrived early for the Samsung fan boys?
