The Oppo R series have been one of the varied launches from Oppo to cater to a niche of users. The Oppo R1C is also known as Oppo R1x.  The Oppo F1s and the Oppo R9s are fairing positively in the smartphone user base around the world.

Processor:

The Oppo R1C full specification of the processor isn’t impressive for the price tag it comes with. It comes with an Android KitKat Operating system. The phone houses a Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 chipset, Octa-core (4x1.7 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4x1.0 GHz Cortex-A53) processor and an Adreno 405 GPU powers the graphics front on the device.

Camera:

The Oppo R1C comes with a 13MP primary camera which features a Geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection, HDR, panorama and LED flash. The primary camera records 1080p videos. The selfie shooter on this is a 5MP unit.

Storage:

The Oppo R1C comes with an internal memory of 16GB that can be expanded up to 256GB using an external memory card. Apart from having low internal memory, the devices does not feature a dedicated slot for external memory.

Battery:

The Oppo R1C battery is a 2420 mAh non-removable lithium-ion unit. It provides juice for  a standby duration of up to 250 hours and a talk time of up to 8 hours.

Design and Display:

The Oppo R1C comes with a 5 inch LCD screen with a screen to body ratio of 69% which produces a display resolution of 720x1280 pixels with a pixel density of 294 ppi. The multitouch on this device is powered by Colour OS 2.1

Verdict:

The Oppo R1C mobile price in India is slightly onto the higher side and the specifications and features provided aren’t up to the mark as the competition provides high specs at much cheaper price tags. You could consider the Oppo F1s or the OnePlus 3 or the Mi Mix or Mi Max Prime
