Meizu Pro 6 release date in India: March 6, 2017.
The premium aluminium design is a pro here along with other finest inserts like sAMOLED screen, fingerprint Sensor, 3D Touch, better audio quality.
The camera Duo lacks luster and generates noise. Other than these, the mobile bears some backlogs like deficit battery backup, non expandable memory and the new Flame OS which still takes some time to get used.
Camera and battery can be deal breakers but it delivers reliable performance and is priced at a very reasonable cost. So it is worth a try.
Unlike the Meizu Pro 5, the company includes some new design elements in its new Meizu Pro 6. It comes with a aluminium metal unibody construction which looks great. It doesn’t carry any sharp edges or Flat design. The curved body flaunts the unique antenna bands on top and bottom, which adds uniqueness to the design. On the rear, the camera resembles HTC 10, that is accompanied by 10 LED flash. On a whole, the design has high quality built and allows good touch and feel.
The new 5.2-inch AMOLED display is new with this pro 6. It gets Full HD resolution at a pixel density of 424 ppi. The screen serves manageable handling experience and the features like eye protection and manual color temperature shifts prove this to be more impressive.
Meizu Pro 6 is packed with MediaTek deca-core processor aided by 4GB RAM and Mali-T880MP4 GPU, thus handles everything well. There are no lags and multitasking is smooth and when intensive gaming is in tasks, the load times are slow with minimal lags otherwise everything is fluidic.
The device is equipped with 21MP rear shooter with laser autofocus, 10 LED flash. However, the images are not sharp with loss of details. The 5MP selfie snapper is also mediocre with low light issues still persisting. Even the HDR mode is a miss, with too much brightness or very poor brightness in low light areas. This smartphone houses 32GB internal storage with no expandable memory option which is disappointing.
Meizu Pro6 gets a small battery of 2560 mAh capacity that doesn’t help much in keeping the device alive. The non-removable battery works for a half day up on moderate usage and requires refill in the middle. The good new is that the phone comes with type c USB port thus enabling faster charging feature.
Finally, the product is completely not a hit but it has its performance focals. Other than the disappointing battery and camera, this device is dependable. For the price tag offered, the mobile has got some handful unique features, therefore calling for a race with Oppo mobiles and Oneplus Smartphones. Meizu Pro 6 price in India is expected to be around INR 28,990 and can buy online at stores like Flipkart for lower price tags.
