The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus is an improved version of the original Lenovo Phab 2. This latest phablet comes with few changes which include a fingerprint scanner at the rear. The price of the device in India starts from Rs. 13,999.
Lacks Corning Gorilla glass protection
At its heart, the device is driven by a strong Octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz housed on a MediaTek MTK-8783 chipset. This is supported with 3GB of RAM, which keeps the device running quick and smooth. The Adreno 405 GPU handles the graphics department. The device outputs a quite decent Android experience. However, the handset is somewhat sluggish when we talk about using several apps at the same time.Like the original Lenovo Phab 2, the Phab 2 Plus boots on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out of the box.
One of the salient features of the Phab 2 Plus is that the device presents two back 13-MegaPixel shooters with f/1.8 aperture and an 8-MegaPixel front-facing shooter. It also features the Milbeaut, the latest image processing software used in Leica cameras which can be used to capture splendid images with awesome clarity even in conditions of both dim and bright light. The Augmented reality option on the Lenovo Phab 2 Plus is nothing but a special-effects mode, that enables you to include a variety of objects and effects to images and videos recorded with the shooter.
Design and Display:
The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus sports a mammoth 6.4-inch full HD resolution and uses IPS display technology. The screen resolution is 1080 x 1920 pixels which result in a pixel density of 344 ppi. It features a full metal clad frame of two colour choices: Gunmetal Grey and Champagne Gold. The device has a thickness of 9.6mm and weighs 218 grams. But, the phablet might be somewhat too large for an average mobile user. The handset comes with a fingerprint scanner on the rear with glass finish, enhancing security aspect of this handset significantly.
The phablet features 32GB of default storage space which can be further expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card. There is enough storage space for media files and other data. So, shutterbugs needn't worry about where to store their images.
This latest Lenovo Phablet is energized by a non-removable Li-Ion 4,050 mAh cell that provides adequate energy to keep your handset functional for a whole day even with heavy usage.
The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus features everything that is required to provide a good experience. In spite of its large display, there is no compromise on clarity, offering splendid visuals that's awesome for ebook reading and internet surfing. This in combination with its remarkable sound quality and mighty GPU offers pleasing movies, music, and Gaming experience. The device`s metal design is fashionable to view and hold besides a solid configuration inside that provides a stunning performance. These marvellous features make it a right phablet to opt for.
