HTC Desire 825 Price

Budget-friendly phones is the need of the hour. People nowadays look for devices that do not burn a hole in the pocket and are efficient at the same time. Big players like Samsung, LG, Motorola, and HTC have been forced to manufacture such smartphones to meet the demand.

HTC Desire 825 Dual SIM is one of the phones which has proved HTC’s readiness to revamp its portfolio. This 4G ready smartphone is surprisingly lightweight. Just weighing 155 grams, the 5.5-inch smartphone has an amazing design to keep the user engaged. The ergonomics are specially targeted towards the youth who would definitely appreciate some refreshing design. The display has a 720 x 1280p HD resolution. Honestly speaking, there are a lot of other phones in the same price margin offering a much better resolution.

This handset runs on  Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core chipset with 2GB RAM which is decent. The phone works sufficiently well but one cannot expect outstanding results. It comes with a 16GB internal storage, expandable up to 200GB. Once again, the storage could have been better.

The phone provides numerous connectivity options including 4G LTE support, Bluetooth connectivity, gesture support, and Wi-Fi. While the connectivity options are good, the 2700mAh battery is another huge flaw. Other devices in the same price range provide a minimum of 3,000 mAh. However, they have provided a few battery saving options.

One great feature in this phone is the sound output which is common to all HTC devices in general. The HTC BoomSound speakers, Dolby Audio, and dual microphone provide a great experience.

The 13MP rear camera provides good color reproduction provides average results in low light conditions. The selfie camera which is a 5MP unit  works decently.

Overall, the HTC desire 825 definitely lacks performance looking at its price i.e INR 16,000. If you are looking for a phone in this budget category there are better options available in the market. Of course, if you are looking for a phone with good audio and design, this is the one to go for.
