HTC Desire 326G Dual SIM
HTC Butterfly 3 launch date in India: March 20, 2017
HTC smartphones have rather been lagging behind in the smartphone race. As just the brand value isn’t sufficing the sales of its products in India. The pricing of HTC has always been high and the features offered were not in par with what the competition offered.
The HTC butterfly 3’s price in India is to be around 30,000. This speculative review will give you an insight on whether or not the HTC butterfly 3 is a good buying option.
3GB RAM, 20MP camera, dust and water resistant, Android Marshmallow OS, Dedicated slot for expandable memory (up to 256GB), Dolby audio enhancement, stereo speakers, fast battery charging, 565 pixels per inch screen
2700 mAh battery unit
The HTC Butterfly 3 specs of the processor aren’t very impressive in accordance with the OS and RAM. It comes with an Android Lollipop operating system that can be upgraded to the Android Marshmallow variant. The presence of the HTC Sense UI 7.0 makes it better.
The phone features a Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 chipset and an Octa-core (4x1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4x2.0 GHz Cortex-A57) processor. The phone comes with 3GB RAM while competitor products like the OnePlus 3, and the OnePlus 3T offer nothing less than 6GB RAM at this price. The phone’s graphics are powered by a powerful Adreno 430 GPU.
The HTC Butterfly 3 camera review is impressive and bold. It features a 20MP primary camera which has a wide aperture of f/2.2 and a 28mm lens adds to it. The other features of the camera are Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, HDR, autofocus, and dual-LED (dual tone) flash. The primary camera records 2K videos at 30 frames per second.
The selfie shooter is a large 13MP unit that is equally tuned to capture your best moments. Equipped with a wide aperture of f/2.2,28mm is capable of recording 2K videos too.
Design and Display:
The HTC Butterfly 3 specs of the design will delight those users who do not wish to have very large screen phones. This features a matte finish in Red, Blue, and White colours. The 5.2-inch screen is beautifully fit in the frame and houses a screen to body ratio of 67.6%. The screen produces a high display output of 1440 x 2560 pixels with best in class pixel density of 535 pixels per inch. This screen resolution is much better than the Pixel, Galaxy S7, and iPhone 7.
The HTC Butterfly 3 comes with a decent internal storage capacity of 32GB and supports the use of expandable memory up to 256GB using a dedicated slot. Thus, you wouldn’t have to keep deleting the high quality pictures you’ve clicked from its smart camera.
The HTC Butterfly 3 battery life is not as much as you’d expect as the HTC Butterfly 3 battery is a small 2700 mAh unit. This is definitely one of the major flaws, for, at that price, one would expect a battery ranging between 3500-4000 mAh.
The HTC Butterfly definitely lags behind in terms of battery and OS variant. But the phone compensates in terms of high cam, High definition display unit and other features you’d expect from a premium phone. Hence, making it a good buying option.
