Why Redmi Note 4X is a feeding of craze and ridicule!
Bala Manikanta May 24, 2017 0 MobilesWhat is Redmi Note 4X? How is it different from the Redmi Note 4?
Xiaomi has created record sales with its latest mid-range miracle, the Redmi Note 4. Above one million phones have been sold in the first 45 days. Sweet disposition, we would say! That apart, Chinese tech giant couldn’t get enough and wanted to get something more out of this phone. And what they have done? Made a Hatsune Miku phone!
Who is Hatsune Miku?
For all of you who don’t know Hatsune Miku is, it’s a popular fictional character in Japan. And what does it do? Sing songs. Pop songs. Synthesised. Also, Hatsune Miku is very famous in China and a few other Asian countries.
To get a little picture of how exactly Hatsune Miku looks like and sings like, here’s a small video
And to get an idea of how crazy people are about Hatsune Miku, a hologram appearance, here’s another video.
When something like this is ascending to the top of the music ecosystem, I wonder how far we’ve come as species. No offense, but we, the people, are crazy.
A few years back, Sony has also made a Xperia phone based on Hatsune Miku.
So, the Hatsune Miku craze is real! And it’s ridicule.
Coming back to the topic, putting in mind the feeding of craze and following Hatsune Miku has in these countries, Xiaomi has launched its Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X as a surprise gift for Valentine’s Day 2017. And the sales are as usual skyrocketed right after the phone made its way into the markets.
Redmi Note 4X
So let’s talk about the phone. The Redmi Note 4X is a clone to the Note 4 when it comes to features. But a couple of differences between the phones are the price and the colors they are minted in. Coming in two versions; 3GB and 4GB (INR 11999 & INR 13999), the Redmi Note 4X costs an INR 1000 more when compared to the Note 4 variants of 3GB and 4GB (INR 10999 & INR 12999).
And while the popular Note 4 comes in Gray, Gold, and Black, the Redmi Note 4X comes in more vibrant colors; Cherry Powder, Champagne Gold, Platinum Silver Grey, Matte Black, and Hatsune Miku Exclusive Colour, which is near to Ocean Blue.
While Redmi Note 4X was exclusively released in China and Japan, the company might soon release it in India, at least in a limited edition. So all you Indian fans of Hatsune Miku, if there are any, will have to wait for the official news on this.
What do you think? How do you like the idea of launching a phone based on a fictional character?
We’re no less!
While we’re at that, we have come up with some more ideas for Xiaomi if at all they’re planning to do this again!
