Redmi 4 vs Redmi 4a – Who wins the battle of budget mobiles?
Redmi 4 vs Redmi 4a – Check out who’s got the last laugh!
Looking like Chinese tech giant Xiaomi is not going to stop anytime soon from launching its mobiles back to back. Within a 2-month gap of launching its budget phone Redmi 4a, Xiaomi is now back with yet another budget mobile, the all new Redmi 4. When were you this much excited about the fourth version of something? Star Wars? Final Destination? Or a Twilight book?
Putting jokes aside, two we’ve decided to do a comparative analysis of both the mobiles. And there is only an INR 1000 difference between these two, so we couldn’t resist ourselves from putting both of them under the lens and decide which one’s a good one!
So, here we picked out a few key specifications and decided which one of the Redmi 4 and Redmi 4a got the last laugh regarding their features…
Who do you think wins here?
While critics and mobile experts are still trying to figure out why Xiaomi has been firing out a phone after phone, here we have come to a conclusion about the best budget phone between Redmi 4 and Redmi 4a. So, except for the display and memory which are same for both, Redmi 4 has dominated the 4a single-handedly without hesitation. Also, there’s a mild difference in the camera section, where Redmi 4a comes with 2.2f aperture whereas the Redmi 4 comes with a better aperture, which is 2.0f.
The price of Redmi 4, which comes in 3 variants of 2GB+16GB, 3GB+32GB, and 4GB+64GB, starts from INR 6999 and goes up to INR 10999. And this mobile is probably one of the very few under INR 10000 which comes with a fingerprint sensor. Try and make a phone with a 4100 battery, Fingerprint sensor, Snapdragon 435, and HD display for the price of 7000. Good luck living homeless!
So, all in all, it’s inarguably the Redmi 4 which played with the full punch and stood out in the bout of budget phones. Which is why it won this battle!
