Nubia, a young smartphone brand owned by ZTE Group has launched the Nubia M2 Lite in India. The smartphone would be available in the Black Gold variant. The Amazon India exclusive Nubia M2 Lite price in India is at Rs 13,999. The handset was originally announced in China in March along with Nubia M2 and Nubia N2. The ZTE M2 Lite goes on sale on May 9th at 12 PM.

What are the key features of ZTE Nubia M2 Lite?

Starting with the camera, the handset sports a massive 16 Megapixel selfie camera on the front. Sporting a stylish look, the new M2 Lite phone has a sleek design with 7.5mm thin edges. Touted as a mobile photography expert, the new smartphone from the company is called a Stylish Selfie Smartphone.

Housing in a metal unibody frame, the M2 Lite design features a 2.5D glass on the front. The dual-diamond cut borders ensure good in-hand grip as claimed by the company. The tenacious design is the USP of the handset as it embodies the balance with a round design. The compact design makes sure you can easily handle the device.

As per company’s claims, the feature Neovision 6.5 enables a strong multifunctional rear camera. Talk about the numbers, the rear camera packs 13-megapixel resolution with f/2.2 aperture number. The front camera comes with 16-megapixel resolution with the 5P lens, f/2.0 aperture number, and 79.8-degree wide angle.

Nubia M2 Lite

The Nubia M2 Lite smartphone sports a 5.5-inch 720p resolution display. It is powered by an Octa-core MediaTek processor, which is paired alongside 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Do make a note that storage can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot. The device runs on company’s Nubia 4.0 UI, which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

In terms of battery life, the device comes with a 3000 mAh capacity non-removable battery. There is no fast charging support, but the company claims it has developed a feature called Neopower 2.5, which improves battery life using 118 power optimization techniques, as claimed by the brand.

It will be going up against Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, the new M2 Lite phone from Nubia should be priced lower than at least the top-end variant of Redmi Note 4. The release date of Nubia’s M2 Lite smartphone is on May 9th at 12PM.
