The revamped version of the classic 3310 phone was revealed by HMD Global at MWC 17. Now new information has come up that Nokia 3310 release date in India is scheduled for last week of April. The reborn handset from iconic brand took the spotlight from all the smartphones unveiled at the prestigious event.

As Reported by NokiaPowerUser, the Nokia is all set to release their revamped feature phone on April 28 in Germany and Austria. They found out that pre-order listings from retailers such as Comstern, Allstechnik, and E-Tec. Note that the device seems to carry a higher price tag than company’s recommended Euro 49 ( Approx. Rs 3,400) in these leaked listings.

The information mentioned in these listings is questionable as the spec sheet showcased 3G connectivity support, which is incorrect. The phone only support 2G network connectivity. These listings appeared genuine because of the fact that they carry article numbers for Nokia 3310, which is valid across retailers.

On a relevant note, HMD Global is planning to bring the Nokia handsets in India. “The Nokia 3310 release date-scheduled in India would align with company’s Android OS powered devices”, as told by Ajey Mehta, Vice President, HMD Global India.
