BSNL Penta IS701C Price

Even though BSNL delayed its entry into the budget tablet market it made it worth the wait. It launched the BSNL Penta IS701C which is priced at INR 4,999 which is one of the cheapest tablets in the market with a capacitive touchscreen. To our surprise, BSNL has not compromised on any features or hardware specifications even for this price. The 7-inch tablet flaunts an elegant white finish and feels solid to hold. Although the 800 x 480p resolution is an issue like other budget tablets, the touch response is brilliant. It also comes with a mini USB port for connectivity on-the-go along with a charging indicator light. Powered by a 1GHz processor and 512MB of RAM, it runs on Android 4.0 OS. There is a VGA selfie camera for video calls but the audio quality is a disappointment. It can only be used to play songs in a closed room. If you are looking for a tablet with better specifications, you can opt for Zync Z-990 Plus which has a 1.5GHz processor and a better battery life.
