BlackBerry Priv specifications of the processor is quite impressive. It houses an Android OS:v5.1.1 (Lollipop) which is upgradable to v6.0.1 (Marshmallow). This is the first smartphone from BlackBerry family which comes with android OS. It comes with a chipset of Qualcomm MSM8992 Snapdragon 808 and a Hexa-core (4x1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 & 2x1.8 GHz Cortex-A57) processor. BlackBerry Priv is equipped with a 3GB RAM unit. Even though, the processor specifications are good, other competitors offer nothing less than an Octa-core processor at this price tag.

Camera:

BlackBerry Priv camera configuration truly disappoints selfie lovers. It consists of a 18+2MP camera unit. With 18MP primary camera, we can get excellent quality pics. Features of the primary camera are Schneider-Kreuznach optics, OIS, phase detection autofocus, dual-LED (dual tone) flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, and panorama. The selfie shooter on this device is only 2MP which is a flaw.The camera records videos at [email protected] and [email protected]

BlackBerry Priv’s display produces a high screen resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels with a high pixel density of 540 ppi so far. It comes with a 5.4 inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with a screen to body ratio of 71.9%. It is a slider smartphone device.

BlackBerry Priv specs includes an internal storage of 32GB and it is expandable up to 256GB through a dedicated slot.

Battery:

BlackBerry Priv’s battery life is around 13 to 14 hours on an average. It is a non-removable Li-Ion 3410 mAh battery that provides a talk time time of 24Hrs and the stand by time of 420 Hrs. The music play back time of the mobile is up to 73 Hrs. It has a feature of fast battery charging (60% in 30 min). Blackberry Priv mobile is a breathe of fresh air in this trend. It is rich with its specifications like 3GB RAM, Marshmallow OS, and 18MP primary camera. But, the secondary camera is not as expected. Blackberry Priv’s price in India is around INR 32,000. Honor 8, Asus Zenfone 3 and Lenovo Phab 2 Pro few products available at the same price margin.
